Description
The Kraken Tentacle Bench is a sculpted seating piece formed from a single curling tentacle rising out of a base of breaking waves. The surface is finished in shifting purple and teal over a textured skin, rows of cream suckers run along the underside and inner curve, and the tentacle sweeps up into a tall curl at one end and a lower curl at the other. The wave base is carved with white crests and forms the plinth.
There is real drama in the shape. The upward sweep gives the bench a strong profile from the side, while the sucker detail rewards a closer look, so the piece works as a landmark across a plaza and as something visitors examine while sitting on it.
It suits seafront promenades, pier walkways, aquarium and marine exhibit routes, pirate and nautical themed zones, water park interiors and adventure golf courses. In a darker or neon-lit indoor setting the shifting finish picks up surrounding colour particularly well.
Colour treatment can be adapted, from natural sea tones through to brighter fantasy palettes, and the bench can be produced to coordinate with other nautical pieces in a themed collection.
Seating specification and installation requirements are confirmed project by project.
