Description
The Pirate Ship Bench with Sea Dragon Figurehead is a seating piece built into the hull of a small wooden sailing ship. A plank seat runs along the inside of the hull, weathered timber planking carries iron-style studs and a brass mooring ring, and a carved sea dragon figurehead in blue and cream scales rises at the bow beneath a rope-bound bowsprit. The hull sits in a sculpted base of breaking waves topped with white crests.
Because visitors sit inside the hull rather than in front of it, the piece frames them within the scene automatically. The bowsprit and figurehead sit high enough to appear in a photograph taken from the side, which gives every picture a clear sense of place.
It fits pirate and nautical themed zones, seafront promenades, adventure golf courses, water parks, harbour attractions and children’s play areas. It also holds up alone in a plaza or courtyard where a single strong piece is wanted rather than a full themed set.
Timber tone, figurehead colouring and rope detailing can be adapted to suit a venue palette, and a ship name or venue branding can be applied to the hull.
Seating specification and installation requirements are confirmed project by project.
