Description
The Space Explorer Alien Statue is a freestanding character sculpture of a friendly cartoon extraterrestrial in an explorer suit. The skin is finished in mint green with two curved antennae above a domed head, large glossy dark eyes and a small curved smile. The suit combines white and purple panels with a silver belt, collar ring and shoulder harness, and purple and silver boots complete the figure.
The design deliberately softens every feature that could read as unsettling. Rounded proportions, an upturned mouth and open hands at the sides make the character welcoming rather than strange, which matters when the audience includes young children.
It suits science centres and planetariums, space-themed zones, arcades, children’s museums, indoor play venues and family attractions. Standing at an entrance or beside an exhibit it works as a landmark visitors use to orient themselves and to arrange where to meet.
Skin tone, suit colours and panel detailing can be adapted to match venue branding, and the figure can be produced as part of a wider character set. Venue branding can also be applied to the chest panel of the suit.
Produced as a decorative 3D-printed sculpture with a hand-finished paint surface.
